Errington Hall Board received funding for their youth band, Kumbana Marimba, to assist them in training marimba instructors to teach elementary school children the marimba instrument.

Mount Arrowsmith Biosphere Reserve received funding for their "Biosphere Community Cafe's" aimed at educating locals about specific issues of concern and perhaps methods or activities that could alleviate some of the stressors.

Georgia Strait Alliance received funding for engaging communities from Nanoose Bay to Bowser to connect with local stewardship groups and individuals for a Mapping Project.

Vancouver Island Opera received funding for a November 2010 performance of "De Fieldemus", a full length opera.

Oceanside Stroke Recovery received funding to purchase a second hand laptop computer and software to loan to disabled clients.

Bowser Senior Housing Society received funding for a workshop among community groups interested in seniors housing options in their area.

The Old School House received funding for new, ecological lighting.

The Oceanside Volunteer Association received funding to present a workshop on Volunteer Management Strategy Development, Board Development, and effective marketing for non-profits.
