Twelve organizations have been selected to receive funding under the Parksville-Qualicum Foundation's 2011 Community Grants Program. The grants, totalling $12,600, were awarded at the Foundation's annual general meeting held in Parksville Wednesday evening. The 2011 grant recipients, recommended by the PQF's arms-length advisory committee, provide a wide-range of community programs and services ranging from youth programs to seniors programs and from leading-age energy efficiency projects to historical projects.
