The Hand

THE YOUTH ACTION COMMITTEE (THE HAND)

We are the Youth Action Committee of the Foundation. However, we have our own name, The Hand. We are a group of socially engaged youth that want to "give a hand" to building the youth friendly community. We have adult support when we need it, but are working hard to learn how to do most things ourselves.

Our vision is simple, "we are youth of Oceanside who are the change we want to see for youth in Oceanside".

The Hand welcomes new members starting from Grade 8 and right on up to the end of the 20's. You can be involved in many ways, depending on your time and your interests.
