Quality of Life Survey Results for Central and North Vancouver Island
Almost 8000 people from central and north Vancouver Island — including Duncan, Nanaimo, Campbell River, Port Alberni, Tofino, Courtenay, Qualicum, and Parksville — responded to a quality of life, online survey led by Vital Signs.
The 2019 report provides a comprehensive look at how our communities are fairing in key quality of life areas, with a focus on community participation and contribution. Questions include topics on residents’ involvement in community activities, local government initiatives and social media, barriers to getting more involved in the community, making financial donations and levels of volunteerism.
Vital Signs is a nation-wide program and a Community of Foundations Canada initiative.
