Do you have an idea that connects people socially or helps them share skills or talents with each other?
Apply for a Responsive Neighbourhood Grant up to $500.
The Neighbourhood Small Grants (NSG) program is based on a simple but powerful idea — when people feel a sense of connection and belonging to their neighbourhood, they are more likely to be engaged in activities that make it a better place. Responsive Neighbourhood Small Grants (RNSG) are open for applications with grants up to $500 for projects that connect people socially or involve sharing skills or talents (with social distancing).
When people are active in the life of their neighbourhood, our communities are strengthened from the ground up. The program in Parksville-Qualicum supports neighbours to build community and strengthen connections right where people live—Apply Today!
Responsive NSG is open to receive applications until April 15.
Project ideas during this time might include online music lessons or virtual group dance parties, delivering groceries to neighbours, neighbourhood beautification projects, or helping provide meals and warm clothes to the homeless.
