Parksville-Qualicum Community Foundation Awards $41,500 to 13 Local Charities

Through its Annual Foundation Grants, the Parksville-Qualicum Community Foundation (PQCF) has awarded funds to 13 local charities, distributing $41,500 across Oceanside.

PQCF connects visionary donors with causes that truly matter, enabling the Foundation to invest in people and projects by assisting local charitable organizations that make local communities stronger—now and for the long-term.

One project receiving an Annual Grant is the Oceanside Community Track fundraiser. Community leaders and individuals are coming together to support the creation of a new six lane track at Ballenas Secondary. Community members can support this endeavour through volunteering, donations, and by spreading the word!

The Oceanside Elementary School playground is also receiving funds for much needed upgrades, as this playground dates back to construction of the original school. And PQCF is also supporting the Qualicum Beach Pipe Band with funds to replace their equipment.
