Parksville Qualicum Foundation distributes $57,918 in funding grants in Oceanside area

Parksville Qualicum Foundation (PQF) held its Annual General Meeting on May 11, 2023, highlighting its Grants Programs and the $57,918 in funding allocated to local individuals, families and charities for the year.

AGM guests included City of Parksville, Amit Gaur, and Town of Qualicum Beach, Anne Skipsey, as well as many grant recipients and supporters.

PQF actively supports local community groups to strengthen connections and build community with funding grants. The Foundation connects donors with causes that make a true difference, investing in projects that make local communities stronger for the long-term.

PQF Grants programs include Neighbourhood Small Grants (NSG), Annual Foundation Grants, and Springford Family Fund. These include:

  • $10,438 distributed to individuals through Neighbourhood Small Grants
  • $39,480 distributed to 13 local organizations through Annual Foundation Grants
  • $2000 distributed to one individual through the Springford Family Fund
  • $6000 distributed to three organizations through PQF & Springford Family Partnership
