Our Greatest Funding Needs This Season
1. Unrestricted Impact Funding
Unrestricted gifts help us respond quickly to the most pressing needs in our region. These funds provide the flexibility required to take action when opportunities or challenges arise and allow the Foundation to support emerging priorities and build the capacity of nonprofits in Oceanside.
2. Community Fund Support
Our Community Fund is the heart of local giving and one of the most effective ways to strengthen Oceanside communities. It supports our annual grants to a wide range of needs including food security, seniors’ services, mental health programs, youth initiatives, arts and culture, and environmental stewardship.
We are actively seeking support for our upcoming Community Granting Round in the new year. Gifts today help us increase the number of grants we can provide and ensure sustainable, reliable support for organizations across Oceanside.
3. Climate Disaster and Emergency Response Funding
Local nonprofits are increasingly called upon to support the community during extreme weather, environmental challenges, and emergencies, such as with the Wesley Ridge Fire this year. To help strengthen our region’s preparedness and resilience, an anonymous donor has generously contributed the first $5,000 to launch the Climate Disaster and Emergency Support Fund! With your help, we can expand this fund and ensure critical support is available when our community needs it most.
