The Neighbourhood Small Grants (NSG) program offers $50 to $500 grants to empower individuals and small groups to initiate projects that enhance the quality of life in their neighbourhoods.

The NSG program is based on a simple but transformative idea: everyone has something to contribute. By supporting diverse, resident-led initiatives, NSG fosters stronger social bonds and more vibrant communities.

What Projects Are Eligible?
The possibilities are endless! Past projects have included:
- Block parties that bring neighbours together
- Emergency preparedness workshops
- Repair Cafés that promote sustainability
- Cultural and community celebrations
- Gardening and park enhancement projects
- Cooking clubs that share culinary skills and traditions
