Peter joined the board in 2023 and chairs the Fund Development Committee.
Peter grew up on farm in Abbotsford and graduated with a degree in agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan. He moved to Vancouver Island in 2005 and lives in Nanoose Bay with his wife and two children. In 2022, he helped to establish the Springford Family Foundation
in honour of his father-in-law, Colin Springford.
Professionally, Peter is a business advisor and facilitator with MNP, a national accounting and consulting firm. He has more than 20 years of experience specializing in marketing strategy, communications, and business development.
Peter has a passion for connecting people and ideas to make good things happen. He is an active member of the Parksville & District Chamber of Commerce, 100 Oceanside Men Who Give Damn, and the Vancouver Island Economic Alliance.
