Steve Bryan joined the Board of Directors in 2026.
Born and raised in B.C., Steve returned to Vancouver Island in 2020 after spending the last sixteen years of his professional career as the Chief Financial Officer of the Canadian Medical Protective Association. Prior to his employment with the CMPA, he served 27 years in the Canadian Forces, with postings across Canada and on multiple international operational assignments. In 2004, he was invested into the Order of Military Merit in the grade of Officer by the Governor-General.
A graduate of Shawnigan Lake School, he holds degrees from Royal Military College (BA), Norwich (MA), and Queen’s University (MBA). He is currently a Doctoral candidate at the University of Birmingham.
A strong believer in the power of local organizations to effect meaningful change, Steve is committed to improving the quality of community life in Oceanside.
